Dr. Larry Sirota is a plastic surgeon practicing in Long Island, New York since 1998. Dr. Sirota is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and specializes in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction as well as cosmetic surgery of the breast and body.

Dr. Sirota is a recognized expert with extensive experience in breast reconstruction and provides an individualized approach for every patient. He offers implant-based options including direct to implant and adjustable implant (a variation on direct to implant that dr. Sirota developed, with the additional benefits and safety of an expander approach). Dr. Sirota is one of the first plastic surgeons in the world to incorporate dermal matrix into his breast reconstructions. He is a pioneer in the use of alloderm in implant breast reconstruction, which he presented at lifecell corporation in 2004 and has now become a standard of care for implant based breast reconstruction throughout the us.

Dr. Sirota completed his plastic surgery residency at the Columbia University in New York, and his general surgery residency at The New Jersey State Trauma Center in New Jersey. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Nassau County Surgical Society.

Dr. Sirota practices and teaches at a number of the leading medical centers on Long Island, including North Shore University Hospitals at Manhasset, Plainview, Syosset as well as Long Island Jewish Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital. He performs cosmetic surgery of the breast and body in his two office locations in Albertson and Huntington.
